Over the past year I have had the fortune of providing counselling service to clients through B.C.’s First Nations Health Authority or FNHA. These specific services include counselling for residential school survivors and their families. I also support those who have also accessed the short term mental health support.  This work often includes building strong coping skills with a mindfulness focus and often dealing with the affects of trauma. I have really enjoyed meeting clients who access me through FNHA and look forward to assisting and learning from the future people I come into contact with.
